punch art swaps

yesterday i ran away to the stampin up sydney regionals

and had a blast catching up with inky friends and

getting inspired and 

making some very neat make and takes

here were my swaps for the day

i have to apologize if you recieved one as i was very rushed and almost didn't make any

the first ones were made using the 2 step bird punch, 

heart to heart punch and a large circle from the circles die.

i also used some fab striped grosgrain ribbon

and a stamp from teeny tiny sentiments

 my other swap was a christmas angel using the pennant punch and the 1/2" circle

the lace border punch and the large circle from the circle die.

i punched out vellum for the wings and dress.

the setiment was made by punching 2 cherry cobbler word windows and sticking them behind the white one.

thanks to all those ladies who swapped with me-i have got a awesome little stash of ideas and inspiration here now to keep me occupied for the new few months!!

october's challenege for the essential baby card group swap was
a sketch and we had to use bling
woohoo!

i lurve to use bling
and
i lurve to follow sketches

here is my take on the challenge using the
very cool house of haunts stamp set
my lovely stampin up sister kay bought me back from the u.s.a
(because we can't get it here in oz...sob sob sob)

the house is done in black staz-on
then i have daubered various inks-orchid+lilac+turquoise+green around it
coloured in the windows with marker
glued some dazzling diamonds on the moon
then wheeled arachnophobia behind it with some ribbon, buttons, and some bling.
hope the eb girls like it!

we love winter

 I love winter.

I love snuggling under a nice warm blankie watching something on tv

or doing something crafty wearing a baggy cardi and my ugg boots.

i also love penguins!

i always wanted one as a pet when i was a kid lol

anyways here are my swaps for my essential baby card swap

had to be wintery-check!

had to have a frame-check! although i didn't use the one suggested-oops my bad :>

had to use paint-ummm no...but i did use ink?!

these little guys were made from the owl punch from stampin up

a totally very cool punch that has waaaaaaaay more uses than just a cute old owl

i'll be showing you some over the next few weeks so hold onto your hats on that one lol!

 on this card i also brayered the background which has the 

confetti stnowflake stamp white embossed on it

i do have to share what i did find on the internet whilst looking for ideas

check out lyndas blog and her fixation with the owls

if you are anything like me you will be having quiet little giggles at her awesome creations!
