undefined fun

i LOVE the undefined kit from stampin up
i LOVE the flexibility to amke exactly the stamp i am after.
i needed a geeky love note
so i made a dalek card
and the letters were done with the alphabet rotary stamp

here are a few more daek cards using the stamp combined with the real su stamp sets as well

my son adores lego adn so do a lot of his friends
so i amde this lego stamp to use on lego themed stuff
on the back of the face stamp i have written in the everything is awesome writing :)
here is a little speech bubble i made
before i had the opportunity to buy the
real su stamp set with them in

i am slightly obsesed by cows so it was a given i would make a cow stamp lol
these are my new thank you cards for customers who purchase hand made cards off me

stampin up undefined stamps

 ever thought...
i wish i had a stamp that.....
had a cool cow on it
had a dalek on it?

well now you can!
stampin' up has thought of a coool way to get you EXACTLY the stamp you want/need/covet
meet the undefined stamp set

it is a stamp carving kit
yes
just like when you were in school and did lino cutting
but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more cooler and awesome and fun and....well yeah...you get the picture huh?
this is the inside of the kit box-2 carving tools, pen, ideas, stamp base to carve into, wooden blocks, sticky backing to stick stamps to blocks
so how do you make one?

draw a picture (or find one, like i did, off the internet)

make it the right size, turn it over and rub pencil all over the back so you can transfer the image to the carving base
then carve it out using the tools

ink it up and stamp it!
also works for daleks too :>

but a word of warning...because..well..you really don't want to know the frustrating reason i am sharing this with you...if you intend to have writing...make sure it is back to front ok...otherwise your word will be the wrong way around when you stamp it lmao

sympathy cards

i am often asked for custom made cards for special occasions.
this week i have been asked to make sympathy cards for 2 very special critters.
i find sympathy cards hard to make due to the very nature of them

the first card was for a lady who had lost her precious tortoiseshell cat. apparently he had a fondness for watching the world go by from the comfort of his lounge window hence why i did this design for a card. I used lovely as a tree as the background and brayered the grass and sky

the next card was for a cow. a bit of an unusual request for sure and i wanted to make it happy but not too cutesy. the customer loved it and thought it was perfect which is what i was after!

take care now
