and one way to say happy anniversary to the one who has your heart

is through a mushy card :>

birds made by cutting a mosaic punch in half  and snipping of the sticky out bits 

 banner at top was made by cutting a triangle punch into quarters

drew on banner with pen to decorate plus some dazzling details 

sentiment card was made by sticking end into mosaic punch

and then i made 5 more!

mosaic madness

so i have been having a play with a new set from stampin up called mosaic madness which also has a matching punch-woohoo!!!

it is a lot of fun and reminds me of those old bathroom tiles we had back in the seventies :> retro man

so what have i done with it so far.....and why do you have to have it lol

 well for one it makes a very cool stencil.

i used the punch here to make a whole page of patterned paper using ink on daubers. i did one layer lightly, then went over it again on one side and then added an extra colour

 see how i used the punch as a stencil rather than a punch?

i used it to make this card for a swap i am doing. i have just added some washi tape and an itty bitty banner with a hello on it from another new set called hello, lovely. the background on the banner is made using another stamp from another new set called gorgeous grunge which is a VERY cool set.

here's another card i made just using a black and white palette. i embossed the images with white powder onto the black card.
