notebooks

ay I have been having some fun lately wiht some mini notebooks. i was inspired ages and ages ago by a fellow inkling Margaret Crawford at our team weekend away and now I think I am hooked :>. They are so easy to do and can be very cheaply sourced. Here are some I found at k-mart and they already had the holes in the covers. I gave it a good rub over with the embossing powder thingy (can remember its name hahah) to prevent any static and then stamped some butterflies on wiht versamark. after that i sprinkled on some gold embossing powder and heated it. voila! inside i added some scraps of paper and i had a left over mini calendar so added that. some ribbon on top finished it off. but was that enough? oh no...it needed more didn't it-some accessories that matched of course! i got a bulldog clip and stuck some scrap paper on that, added a flower wiht a brad and a rub on and a ribbon. then i grabbed an elcheapo pen and decorated that too. cheers ears

wow i am loving this stamp set

this is the embrace life stamp set from the SU Summer mini and it totally rocks! I am so inspired by it at the moment and I keep getting loads of ideas that aren't "borrowed" from Split coast stampers :> It is such a versatile set. I have used it for embossing, as a back bround, a feature image, combined it with its matching dsp (ginger blossom), use dit on fimo for earrings....blah blah blah my list goes on. I'll flip up some piccies over the next week or so...it seems the blogger images doesn't like me uploading too many all at once :>
