blog hopping across australia

welcome one and all to excited? i know i am!
i am guessing you have come from either michelle's awesome blog or may even be just visiting (did you type in wolverine punch art and get here?) whatever... enjoy and feel free to check out what is on offer here (demonstrations and workshops can be done with everything shown) and then at the end there will be a linky link to send you off to the next inkling as inklings we thought about what topic would be the most interesting for you our blog hoppers and we all said as a group that we are always asked for inspiration for masculine cards be it little boys or grandads or spotty teenage boys so as a group we thought we'd help you all out and provide you with ideas from 20 of the inklings team members so you can go out and be inspired to make guy cards now...want to win some blog candy? snort!! of course i do you silly cow...lol well, leave a comment on this blog and on everyone else's and then email michelle.dyson@bigpond.com and let her know you've done so. then you will be in the running to win 20 hand made cards plus some extra stampin up goodies! unfortunately we cannot give the blog candy to su demos but feel free to leave a comment beofre you case all our cool stuff lol okies finally...enough chit chat and onto the real stuff so have you heard about how a rugby player, a cricketer, and elvis all walked into a bar? well maybe not a bar but definately a blog if cricket is your man's love then the "just cricket" set ($24.95) is what you probably want here i have made a few cards with it (thanks tracey!) here i have stamped the bat with basic brown onto whisper white i then coloured in the rest of the card with my aqua painter and some green galore i added a 'coloured in' bat and a ball covered with crystal effects this card was made with riding hood red, wild wasabi and whisper white i used the just cricket set and the sweet litte sentiments hostess set finally a punch art cricketer complete with his baggy green hat and stuck onto some garden green dsp from the hostess set this time i added a phrase-just 'happy birthday'
with a sporting theme in mind i went to the nrl for my next lot of inspiration. although we are warriors supporters....here our closest team is actually wests. so hence this guy in his team colours.
or try a differnt code like rugby here is a wallaby player ready to play
or, of course, the best team in the world THE ALL BLACKS!!!!! but i am a tad biased :>
and yes. elvis does live in my world anyways lol here is elvis added to a carousel note with 'you rock!' from the just jawing stamp set perfect for any guy who thinks he is king
and finally, there is always the option of punching out the intended recipient out yourself lol that sounds good aye? here is my hubby as a punch art man complete with his daggy black trackies and his bright yellow t-shirt and glasses. feel inspired? i hope so if you need to know what punches i used for each person just leave an email address in your comments and i will send you the details well that's all folks for now anyways next stop is janice have fun and don't forget to leave a comment to go in the draw to win blog candy-woohoo! cheers ears!
