woohoo....a new catalogue and a blog hop!!!!

kia ora and welcome to the esad blog hop celebrating the launch of stampin up's brand spanking new catalogue here in australia and new zealand what is esad you ask? e.s.a.d are the extra special australasian demonstrators and we are an online group of aussie and kiwi stampin up demos. we love doing what we do and sharing it soooooo much that we want to share it with our friends, customers, fellow demos and awesome blog visitors. we run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyber stamps. and the best part is we are there to support and help each other when needed. So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group. i am guessing you have already been completely gobsmacked by bev's amazing stuff or come here randomly or are one of my lovely regulars :>

as demos we always get a sneak peek at what is coming (an awesome reason to be a demo) two stamp sets that caught my eye were a level two hostess set called cute by the inch and a catalogue set called baby bundle

this card set is made using the cute by the inch set. i have made the gift box for them into a cute little handbag and used the manhatten flower embossing folder to give it a bit of texture.
again i have used the cute by the inch set to make a picture for the wall of my kitchen. who can resist that eat cake sentiment-really now?!!! i have used a bit of supernova glitter on the centre cupcake...can you tell lol
some more 6x6 gift cards using the phrases from the baby bundle set. did you know this stamp set has it's own special co-ordinating punch? guess what's on my first purchase list lol next i made a stationery box using the baby bundle stamp set as my inspiration. i am not really a pastels baby kind of gal so went for a striking black, red and white theme instead so it can be the gift for that person who hasn't had a sneaky look at baby's bits and has no idea what flavour baby they are having!!!!
it includes 8 invites for a baby shower 4 thank you cards and 6 baby arrival cards plus a little note book to write down things a pen and little section to put postage stamps in.
and check out how i used the baby's head to decorate the flower on the lid of the box! how cute is that???
finally i have to show off a gift i made for my daughter for her birthday she has just turned seven and already has shoes to rival carrie bradshaw's collection albeit a tad more casual lol i used the teddy bear from the baby bundle set and some staz-on black ink to stamp on some white canvas shoes i also stamped onto some white fimo and made some buttons which i baked in the oven which i attached to the shoes with black ribbon. needless to say i am glad i took the photo as soon as they were made as they are now looking very lived in and scuffed and loved :> well i hope that has given you a bit of a taste of what is in our new catalogue remember to leave a comment behind as you pass on through as there will be freebies to give away... flick an email to Leonie letting her know you have and she'll put you in the draw to win goodies!! righto off to mae's cachet now for some more cool stuff have fun!!!! and don't forget to come back soon for some more ideas as i will have loads in the next few weeks cheers ears

Great idea of a stationery set for someone having a baby and I also like how you have framed the cute by the inch stamps with the square punched out of the front of the cards.
