i ahve had a few requests lately to show you how i actually make the punch art creations i do
so once a month i will :>
and show you how to use it as a card or scrapbook page or otp
here is june's creation
a paper doll
here's a list of all the stampin up punches you will need
(disclaimer: some may or may not be retired)
13/8" circle and punch 2 rugby balls out of it
use them and the bits from the blossom punch for the hair
add little hearts for the bows
add eyes and
mouth (3/4" circle-use a 1/2" if you want a smaller mouth)
the freckles came from the off cuts of the dotted scallop ribbon punch (yes i do try and use everything lol)
dress is a pennant die triangle and i have added the scallop border to the bottom and some 1/2 " circles for buttons
dotted scallop ribbon for legs
add stockings with pennant punch for trim
flowers using trio flowers and circle from cupcake punch
leaf from bird punch
this is the back and how it looks when stuck together
btw i use tombow as my glue
so how did i use it?
first one i made got used as a bag tag for my convention bag-i just laminated it so it would handle some rough and tumble.
this one also has ribbon legs and a scarf and googley eyes
imagine one of these as a bag tag for a little girl you know
(or big girl rofl)
anyways i decided to use my one for a scrapbooking page
i used the corner edging punch (minus it's plastic do-dah around the outside) to make a scallop edging for my page
added a zillion flowers to it and some of that bobbley ribbon we had a while back
to get the flowers a little 3d-ish you can poke them in the middle with your stampin score stylus on something squishy
( i use craft foam ssssh)
hope this was useful
feel free to put in an order with me for any of the punches you have seen in this tutorial :>
cheers ears
ps
on a side note-did you know you can make carrots from the blossom punch?
