simple and stripey

i don't do simple cards
i find i want to add stuff
and more stuff
and more stuff
i need to say no
no more

so i tried it with this card
i possibly didn't need the baker's twine at the top
and i possibly could have left the inside candles

but i couldn't help myself
honest

what do you think?
i also wanted a window effect
it was part of a challenge for a

not sure i like the inside
another glimpse of the card from another angle.

i got the idea for stripes from a just add ink challenge and figured it would go quite nicely with the candles

i still find simple hard

what about you?

cheers ears

Clare, this is AWESOME!! I can't "do" clean and simple, but you have nailed it with this little beauty. Just love the stripey paper peeking out from the die-cut candles. Too cute. Thanks for playing along with us at Just Add Ink this week!

I find simple hard too Clare, but I think you have done a wonderful job on this. I love the stripes through the candle window. Thanks for playing at JAI this week ♥

Lovely idea to have the stripes behind the cut outs - very effective. Chantell JAI
