tribute to charlotte's web

every once in a while i get an idea in my head and want to make it into a card

the cute spider webby doilies from stampin up gave me the starting point for my web into a card in a box

 from there i was able to add my charlottes web friendship quote and add a spider and add the cute halloween inspired dsp in the latest occasions catalogue

followed up with a feel good stamp about friendship

a pretty little tree

i bought myself a new die this week

a pretty little tree

so i just HAD to make a card with it asap

luckily the ladies at colour me gave me some colour inspiration for my new toy lol

to get the background the way it is i just sponged some tempting turquoise on whisper white

another card for a special birthday frind this month

another awesome challenge from the just add ink team

this time it was an inspiration challenge

 when i saw this all i could think of was a high tea with friends and copious amounts of tea and biscuits and china tea cups

 this is what i came up with

a card in a box using the from my heart stamp set from stampin up

i have also used some beautiful pink ribbons and lace and the gorgeous rosettes

punches used include the small butterfly and a border punch

 the cups were stamped in black and pink pirouette ink and fussy cut

 i cut around the from my heart stamp and utilised different aspects of it in different ways for the inside of the card in a box

 the front of the card with some bling and pearls

 the view from up top so you can see the mechanics of it

 the back of the card where you can write your greeting

a view from the side using spots from the kinda eclectic stamp set
