autumn card

soooo not my colours but i love a challenge :)

with all those autumnly colours i thought why not a autumn card
using a leaf die i have had sitting around for just such an occasion
i placed them in a card in a box to get a 3d effect

i sponged the outside using a stencil from the sheet of card that i cut the leaves from
to make the coloured card i inked up a glass mat with the challenge colours,
spritzed it with water to smoosh it all together
and then laid the paper on top of it.
i dried it quickly with a heat gun
and then die cut what i needed out of the sheets

book marks

i admit to being a bit of a bookaholic
especially anything sci-fi or fantasy based
and i always seem to be reading 5 books at once
1 by the bed
1 in the car
1 in the other car
1 in my handbag
1 in the toilet hehehehehe

and i am forever losing my place even though i turn the pages over
so i thought i had better get a book mark or 2...or 5...
and really let's face it tissues and parking tickets are just not as pretty as one you have made yourself :>

so a bit of embossing powder,
some punched out butterflies,
some brads,
a label die cut,
some beads, some ribbon,
and voila!!!
now i have some pretty book marks

scrapbooking-dress ups

the other weekend i went away to scrapbook
for.
the.
ENTIRE.
weekend

with NO children

o.m.g.

it was sooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun!

so now you will get inundated with pages!
i tried to use stampin up stuff as much as possible so hopefully you will get some ideas on how to use your stampin up goodies for scrapbooking your favourite photos

this page was done using daffodil delight, lovely lilac (retired) and die-cut blooms (retired).
i also added some of the sew suite paper and used a circle punch for a photo border

now that the die-cuts have retired you can always use the flower folds die instead
